Playing through the rainy season

The Reserve teamUpdated June 30, 20263 min read

From June onward, the afternoon downpour is part of the schedule in Polomolok's tropical rainy season. Many of the courts in town are open-air, so a hard rain can stop play. Here is how to plan around it.

Book covered or indoor when you can

A covered court lets a drizzle pass without ending your game, and an indoor air-conditioned court keeps the weather out entirely. If you are booking an afternoon slot in the rainy months, those are the safer bets over budget open-air courts.

The reschedule rule

Rain policies vary by venue. Some courts let you reschedule if it rains out your booking; others have their own rules, so check the venue's policy before you commit. When ReservePolomolok lists courts, each venue's cancellation and reschedule terms — including any free-cancel window — will be shown on its page, so you will know exactly where you stand with the weather before you pay.
